It's that time of year once again! The North Myrtle Beach Society of Stranders (SOS)is hosting it's 'fall migration' of shaggers until Sunday, September 20th. Shag dancers from all over the country are in North Myrtle Beach this week for 10 days of beach music and dancing! Twice a year, shaggers arrive in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach for a week of fun. The 5th Annual Paws Across the Water event held by the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society will be held this Saturday, September 12th! The Duck Race will be held at Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach. Festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and the race will start around 12:50 in the afternoon. Rubber ducks can be adopted online here. All proceeds benefit the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society. The first and second place prizes are a $2,000 and $1,000 gas card, respectively, provided by the Myrtle Beach Harley Davidson
There will be lots of games, food, and prizes. Don't miss it!
